Far cry ۳ در سبک اول شخص شوتر طبقه بندی میشود و ادامه دهنده شماره های یک و دو این بازی موفق و پرطرفدار است ، همانند نسخه های پیشین دارای یک محیط جهان باز یا OpenWorld است.به گفته ی سازندگان ، محیط این بازی ۱۰ برابر بزرگتر از محیط فارکرای ۲ شده است.محیط بازی فارکرای ۳ از تپه ها و صخره های سنگی ، بوته ها و درخت های سرسبز تشکیل شده که در حین انجام بازی ، استفاده های زیادی از آنها خواهید برد به خصوص برای موارد و روند مخفی کاری. در واقع رویه گیم پلی بازی بر محور محیط تعریف می شوند همانطور که گفته شد بازی در سبک جهان باز است و محیطی بزرگ که ماموریت های اصلی و فرعی در آن انجام می پذیرد. برای انجام این ماموریت ها و پیمایش در جزیره ، خودرو هایی در نظر گرفته شده که نسبت به نسخه ی قبل تنوع بیشتری دارد . همچنین برای گذر از رودخانه های ی موجود در این جزیره ، می توانید از قایق استفاده کنید.همه چیز برای پیاده سازی یک openworld خوب آماده است.Far Cry 3 دارای قابلیت Crouch نیز می باشد که به لطف آن و بااستفاده از محیط بازی ، می توانید مخفی کاری را اعمال کنید.در بازی از سلاح های متنوعی استفاده خواهید کرد همچنین سلاح سرد هم در بازی وجود دارد U به گفته ی سازندگان بازی ، با مقدار زیاد تیر برای سلاح گرم روبرو نیستید و برای این کار باید در محیط بازی گشت بزنید و ماموریت های فرعی را انجام دهید.اما قابلیت جدید و جالبی در FARCRY 3 اضافه شده و آن ، Takedown است که چه درحالت ایستاده و چه در حالت نشسته ، انجام آن ممکن است. در مجموع برای اتمام مرحله میباید از ذهن خود بیشتر استفاده کنید که نسبت به سایر FPS ها کمی متفاوت تر است .با رعایت این نکته ، می توان بطورکلی این نتیجه را گرفت که گیم پلی این بازی چیزی بین مخفی کاری و شوتر کامل است.در ادامه لینک دانلود نسخه فشرده بازی که شامل جدیدترین آپدیت و تمامی افزونه های منتشر شده برای بازی است قرار گرفته.
